Quarter Cracks
Quarter Cracks are common in horses in hard training and performance, particularly racehorses and event horses. There are a number of reasons these occur including damage to the coronary band, excessive loading or inadequate shoeing. TheraPlate suppports blood flow to the hoof which assists the body and good hoof health.
Thermal Imaging
Thermal Imaging can detect skin temperature and areas where blood flow is increased or decreased. The left image is before a 20 minute TheraPlate treatment, most of the horse is yellow or green with minimal red areas. The red areas indicate a higher body temperature and blood flow. The image on the right is after a 20 minute TheraPlate session.
