TheraPlate UK are pleased to welcome dressage rider, Sarah Higgins and event rider, Alex Hua Tian, to their brand ambassador team.

Sarah and Alex share a base in Cheshire, where they ride, train , teach and compete. They have had a TheraPlate on the yard for 12 months, and use it regularly with their horses.

Alex Hua Tian is a talented event rider representing China. With some already impressive stats, he continues to make his mark on the equestrian sport.

Alex is the youngest ever eventer to compete at an Olympic games and is also China’s first equestrian Olympian ever. Regularly seen at the most prestigious events across Europe, Alex is also an Ambassador for the Asian Games and won the Rising Star Award from Federation Equestre Internationale (FEI) in 2009.

Alex shares his equestrian base in Cheshire with partner Sarah Higgins (who you might recognise from one of our previous posts!)

With an exciting string of horses for 2019, Alex has his sights set high and we can’t wait to support Alex and his horses and wish them good luck for the upcoming season!

Sarah Higgins is a talented dressage rider who has recently joined the TheraPlate revolution.

Sarah loves having a TheraPlate at her base which she shares with Chinese Olympic Event Rider, Alex Hua Tian.

Sarah’s career began when she first rode under the British flag on Pony European Championship teams. From this, Sarah continued her ridden career into horses and continues to build and strengthen her team. She has an exciting string of horses to campaign throughout 2019 with her pupil, Sarah Rao. The highlight of the year for Sarah is the TheraPlate UK Liverpool International Horse Show, where she hopes to finish on the podium, a fantastic way to finish the year!

The TheraPlate Revolution continues to grow even further with the addition of Victoria Maw, International Dressage Rider, based in North Lincolnshire.

Victoria is a must-follow rider on social media, always posting hilarious videos, tips and generally brightening her followers’ day. As well as this, Victoria is a highly talented dressage rider who is dedicated to improving her horse’s wellbeing and performance.

Introducing Victoria Maw

Victoria is a 24yr old International Dressage Rider, based in North Lincolnshire. As well as a highly established rider, Victoria is also a UKCC level 3 Dressage Coach. Her top horse, Bon Rouge CH, has been trained by Victoria through the ranks from a green 6 year old to a successful Grand Prix horse.

Victoria is part of the BEF Excel Talent programme 2015-2019 and part of the BEF Young Professionals programme 2018-2019, supported by Lottery funding and UK Sport. As a Young Rider, Victoria represented Great Britain and has an exciting string of young horses behind her who she hopes to nurture through to International competition.

With high hopes for her horses, Victoria’s commitment to maintaining her equestrian athletes is highly important.

All of the horses on Victoria’s yard use the Theraplate daily, she says, “I’m now not sure what we would do without it because it has become a vital part of my horse’s routine.”

Creighton-Shaw Show Team are a talented showing duo made up of Dean Shaw and Phil Creighton.

Passionate about equine wellbeing and performance, Dean and Phil are meticulous about their horse’s condition, health and happiness. They are both really excited about the addition of a TheraPlate to their yard!
